As part of our monthly tradition, we gather once a month for a Bible study at our residence, focusing on praising and worshipping God through song. Over the last 2 weeks WellSpring has been given an amazing opportunity to begin its first farming project. The ministry was able to secure 2 limas (5 acres) of uncleared land. The task of clearing the land has started and the plan is to grow maize (corn) on all 5 acres.

Wellspring GIrls house is a sanctuary for over 10 girls, providing them with a clean, safe environment and access to educational and recreational activities. Our primary objective is to safeguard these girls from early marriages, sexual exploitation, physical abuse, and other forms of maltreatment that they may have encountered prior to their arrival. Ensuring their security and protection is our top priority.

This week the team took time to examine the girl’s growth and development. The girls have been living under our care for nearly a year. Their day-to-day lives look significantly different now than from the lives they were coming from. They are attending school, and church, eating three meals per day, accessing medical care, and clean water, warm beds, and a loving Christ-led leadership team pushing them to be all Christ has called them to be.
