Today the first three residents arrived to their “new home” at the first girls house in Mufulira. Martha, Naomi (lil Naomi), and Jolima were brought along with family members to go through orientation and be welcomed into their new place.
This marks an exciting time in WellSpring, not just for these children, but for the ministry as these are the first girls the Lord has blessed us to be able to serve.
Time was spent getting used to the new surroundings, learning about “indoor” bathing and toilets, as well as what life will be like with beds, pillows, and blankets.
Clara our house mother was also able to share with the family the way things move daily in the house, as well as share with them in a time of scripture sharing and prayer.
The mothers and grandmothers shared their gratitude and also spoke over each of the children’s very sincere wishes and instructions to treat this blessing the Lord has given them very wisely and with extreme gratitude and respect.
