Today Micah, Annie, and Mary joined the house as the newest residents.
Micah and Annie are sisters coming from a family of 6. Their older children are brothers, and none of them were able to complete school past 8th grade. Their mother is 46, never educated, and struggles to raise $2.00 a day to support the family.
Their father abandoned the family many years ago and no one knows his location.
Annies and Micah being girls in this situation makes them very vulnerable. Annie is 13 and has never been to school. Micah is 9 and of course, has never been to school either.
Mary is 12 and was being raised by her grandparents. Her father died of HIV and her mother was also infected and abandoned Mary years ago. Mary was born with HIV and has to be on medicine every day.
Her body responds well to the medication and with proper nutrition and consistent medication, she is a very healthy young girl.
We are very excited to see all the Lord will do in the lives of these three girls.
