Vincent is Wellspring’s first “boy”, but at this time is part of the ministry as a non-resident.
Vincent is 14 and in grade 6. His father is in prison and his mother struggles to survive by selling vegetables. Vincent stays mainly with his grandmother.
The financial situation is very difficult and for Vincent, the start of the school year was a giant-sized mountain for him to climb. There was no money for the basic Zambian school requirements, a uniform, shoes, books (notebooks), pens, and pencils.
After visiting with the grandmother and learning about Vincent’s intent to drop out and spend his days helping his mother, we have agreed to help with his school requirements and he has agreed to continue his education.
We will continue to monitor and update Vincent and continue to pray about the future role the Lord would have us play in Vincent’s life.
