This last week the girl’s house celebrated Idah’s 14th birthday. This was the first birthday party Idah ever has experienced on her behalf. The celebration brought her so much joy. The girls danced, ate, and sang. They celebrated with a special meal and a beautiful cake.
This was also a special occasion to recognize Ida’s success at school. Before this past January Idah had never sat in a desk for one day. She did so well in her class that she placed in the first position and they are “bumping” her up to a new grade when school starts back this week.
