Everyday WellSpring is blessed by some amazing volunteers. Women that serve simply because they have a heart and passion for the work God is doing in the lives of the WellSpring children.
Melody, Mercy, and Joice have true servants hearts. They give of their time sacrificially, helping watch the children if Clara needs to be gone from the house, helping cook meals, or just being a “mom” to the girls and their stream of never ending “mom” questions. They not only love the girls well, but they share with them from their heart important life lessons and Christian values.
Our girls love these women and see each of them as family.
Sara and Naomi live in the house, but equally give of their time as volunteer assistants to Clara. Helping keep the girls organized and on schedule. They also help the girls to learn about critical parts of life and help them understand through the relationship of an older sister. The conversations and love Sara and Naomi provide to these younger girls create an even deeper impact in the transition the Christ is doing in each of the children’s lives.
On Friday August 18th, we took time to recognize each of our volunteers and provide gifts of appreciation. It was a special time for the staff and children to express their love and gratitude.
