WellSpring Children Visit Moporro Game Park

The WellSpring family was able to enjoy a special Saturday during Ward’s visit. The family loaded up the bus and took a hour and half drive towards Chingola (the heart of the Zamian copperbelt) to visit Moporro Game Park.

The children enjoyed games, the playground, a nice lunch, and a walking tour that took them inside the natural habitat of the various species of wild African game being kept there.

The children learned much about the various species and asked a lot of good questions during the tour of the animals.

It was a beautiful day and the park had a nice pool to be enjoyed as well. The more daring of the children “braved” the waters of the pool and were taught some fun games, but swimming in a pool is a very scary activity for our children as they have been taught since birth to fear any stream or pool of water.

The afternoon ended with a birthday celebration, everyone enjoyed the cake and singing.

It was a very nice day with lots of laughs learning and fellowship. The quiet bus ride home told the true story of how much fun the children had.
