WellSpring is helping Haggai and his two brothers. Their widowed mother is struggling to eat and survive. They only money they make is by selling the avocado’s from the tree in their yard. Avacados are seasonal so there are many times the family has no financial resources. The father passed a few years back and the family struggles to survive.

My name is Haggai Ngosa, I am 7 years old I stay in Kawama West, I stay with my mother Grace Chileshe, Reuben and Innocent are my brothers. My mother does not work only sales vegetables. Most times she sends my two brothers to sale vegetables or avocados, whatever she orders to feed us, and use to pay rentals for the 2 roomed house we are renting. Our house does not have electricity.

Many times we have a challenge in eating, we mostly have one meal or no meal in a day. My mother struggles to buy school supplies. I go to Kawama community School. It’s hard for my mother to give me books (notebooks), shoes and other school supplies. I’mm in grade 1.

Thank you so much for helping me with school supplies and encouraging me.
