Organizational Information
WellSpring is currently established as two separate entities. In the United States, WellSpring is an incorporated Non-Profit organization in the state of New Jersey. The purpose of this organization is to raise funds to be used by the ministry in Zambia.
WellSpring is in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. IRS Publication 557 indicates that the effective date of our exemption will be retroactive to our date of incorporation which is December 11, 2023. Donations made to WellSpring may be tax-exempt. WellSpring Zambia is an incorporated and fully registered NGO (Non-Governmental Organization). WellSpring operates under the authority and supervision of the Zambian Ministry of Social Welfare. As such WellSpring Zambia can benefit from receiving local donations from local businesses such as grain mills, local churches, and even land donations for farming.
Where Your Giving Goes
Before December 11, 2023, WellSpring was privately funded through private gifts. During these first two years the program was established and 11 full-time residents, 5 non-residents, and 5 vulnerable families were directly impacted through the program.

Impacting A Life
Zambia is currently facing a severe case of hyperinflation, which is causing a direct impact on the monthly expenses associated with improving the lives of each child. Through WellSpring, however, it is possible to provide comprehensive care for each child in the program at a cost of $150 per month. Here is a breakdown of what is included in this cost.
