Astridah is the older sister of Shilla. Unfortunately, she is unable to walk and is currently being assisted as a non-resident through the WellSpring program. As mentioned in earlier stories, Astridah attends a special school. In the summer of 2023, WellSpring partnered with Campus Crusades and provided Astridah with a life-changing wheelchair.
The team regularly visits Astridah and her grandparents, who have been taking care of her since their mother passed away when they were young. Her grandparents are both elderly and have difficulty walking. Providing even one meal per day is a real challenge.
WellSpring’s ministry is committed to reaching beyond the homes of its residents and into the lives of their families and other vulnerable children who can stay with their parents. Astridah and her family express their gratitude to the partners of WellSpring. They know that without the assistance of school supplies and groceries provided by these partners, their situation would be much more difficult.
