Over New Year’s, the Wellspring team in Zambia was blessed to receive two special visitors – Ward and John. This was John’s second trip back to Zambia. The girls and staff were overjoyed to welcome the team and celebrate the new year together. They were delighted by the games and gifts brought by the mission team.
The team arrived on December 28th and departed on January 3rd. It was an amazing trip filled with joy and fun. The girls had the opportunity to enjoy a social outing at the boating club, which they thoroughly appreciated.
In addition to the festivities, the girls received new household items and utensils to use in their daily lives. On New Year’s Eve, the girls and the team put on a spectacular fireworks display at midnight, showcasing their vibrant culture and traditions.
The girls also had the chance to play with the new games provided by the visiting team, which brought them great happiness. Furthermore, the two dads lent a helping hand by assisting with kitchen plumbing and other maintenance work in the girls’ house.
The Wellspring team is deeply grateful for the blessings, love, and support received from the USA team. This visit has truly been a source of joy and encouragement for the orphaned girls and the entire Wellspring community.
