At WellSpring Rescue House in Mufulira, Zambia, each day is filled with learning, growth, and community. After school, the girls take part in daily activities that equip them with essential life skills. Under the guidance of our dedicated caregivers, they learn to cook, wash dishes, and organize household items—skills that will help them build a strong foundation for their future.
Cooking is a favorite activity, with the girls taking turns preparing meals and sorting fresh ingredients like tomatoes. They take pride in their responsibilities, knowing that these skills will one day help them care for their own families.
Beyond chores, the girls enjoy their free time playing games and engaging in creative projects, such as making beautiful handmade door mats. Every moment at WellSpring is designed to nurture independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
By supporting WellSpring, you are giving these girls not just a safe home, but the tools and skills they need to thrive in the world beyond our doors.
