Part of Wellspring’s vision is to impact widows and abandoned families that are struggling to survive. We feel it’s critical to reach beyond just the needs of the child, and when we are able we want to impact the lives of the extended families these children are coming from.
Elizabeth is Jolimas mother, she is dying of AIDS and has a hard time providing food to sustain her body so that she can take her anti-virals which she needs in order to live. We all know what its like to have to take a medication that is strong on an empty stomach. Anti-virals cause dizziness, vomiting and pain when taken without food.
For the past several months we have been ministering to Elizabeth in the form of monthly food supplies which help make sure she is able to eat and stay on her medications.
We are also able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Elizabeth. We truly want to be the hands and feet of Christ to this dear woman. Please continue to pray over Elizabeth for her health and that she will come to know Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.
