I am feeling good to be here because there is No fighting, No insulting, No unfairness, and loving each other. I am happy that I have started going to school and I want to finish school. Once I finish school I want to be a nurse. Am grateful to my house parent she is keeping us well and also buying us clothes.

Idah came to WellSpring from a deeply challenging and painful situation. Within her extended family, she was not truly wanted—kept not out of love, but for the household labor she could provide. Despite being told year after year that she would be enrolled in school, those promises were never fulfilled.
When Idah joined WellSpring at age 13, she had never set foot in a classroom. In 2023, she began Grade 1 for the very first time. Today, she is thriving—eager to learn, joyful in her studies, and finally receiving the care and dignity every child deserves.
