WellSpring is helping Innocent and his two brothers. Their widowed mother is struggling to eat and survive. They only money they make is by selling the avocado’s from the tree in their yard. Avocado’s are seasonal so there are many times the family has no financial resources. The father passed a few years back and the family struggles to survive.
My name is Innocent Ngosa, I am 9years old i stay in Kawama West, iIstay with my mother Grace Chileshe, Reuben is my elder brother and Haggai too. My mother does not work only sales vegetables. Most times she sends us to sale vegetables or avocados, whatever she orders to feed us, and use to pay rentals for the 2 roomed house we are renting. Our house does not have electricity.
Many times we have a challenge in eating. We mostly have one meal or no meal in a day. My mother struggles to buy school supplies. I go to Kawama community School. It’s hard for my mother to give me books (notebooks), shoes and other school supplies. My two brothers and I all go to school.
Thank you so much for helping me with school supplies and encouraging me to have a better future.
