WellSpring Girls Teaching Each Other During Christmas Break

The school has been on an extended break due to a cholera pandemic that broke out across Zambia at the end of the regular holiday season.

As a result, the children of WellSpring have been spending time each day in their own study group. It’s amazing to watch them contribute their knowledge of English, math, and other subjects.

Recently, Diana M moved into the area and has been volunteering as a teacher to help her new “sisters” learn. Some of the girls have been attending additional tutoring and preparatory training to get ready for the new school year, which is set to begin in February.

The girls have also been able to continue their agricultural training at the WellSpring farm, where they’ve been assisting with the care of various crops. It’s a blessing to see that even though the holiday break has been extended, the girls’ education and skills training have continued. Please continue to pray for the girls as they prepare for the 2024 school year.
