As part of our monthly tradition, we gather once a month for a Bible study at our residence, focusing on praising and worshipping God through song. This week, we were privileged to host visitors from Campus Crusade for Christ, Racheal and Diana. The Wellspring team felt truly blessed to share in fellowship with them.
Our Bible study was centered around Matthew 5:14-16, which inspired the children to understand their role as the light of the world and the importance of their actions reflecting that light. Additionally, Racheal introduced the children to the song “This Little Light of Mine,” which was a delightful first-time experience for them, and they thoroughly enjoyed singing it.
At Wellspring, we intentionally designate one Sunday a month for communal worship among our family, fostering unity and strengthening the bonds of fellowship among all children and staff. This day serves as a valuable opportunity for all of us to deepen our understanding of God. Racheal and Diana were visiting Mufulira, Copperbelt, for their second time, coinciding with the Giving Tuesday Zambia campaign. Both are members of Campus Crusade, our partners in effectively disseminating the Gospel to various communities.
Racheal and Diana last connected with the Wellspring team in April, alongside Campus Crusade members, as we collaborated in sharing the Gospel with the Mufulira community. The children were delighted to spend time with them once more this month. We believe the greatest gift one can offer is the introduction to Christ, and as partners, we remain committed to guiding our children and the families we serve toward this transformative path.
